WHITTON from the air... ... late morning of 19th March 2001.The Humber is like a millpond. Most of the previous day's snow has melted though it lingers on the northern side of house roofs and can clearly be seen in the fields above Ellerker at the top right hand of the photo. |

Nearly every house in Whitton can be seen as well as the muddy foreshore with large sometimes circular patches of yellow grass. The pre 1773 old enclosures are seen as small curved irregular fields to the right of Main Street behind the old Manor House . |
